This 1930's house in Southgate, North London had not been updated for many years and after purchasing it the owners had always know that they wanted to fully renovate it. They contacted us and we had a meeting to discuss everything that they wanted to achieve with the renovation works. The scope of works included a kitchen extension, a loft conversion and a full renovation. The site measured survey was undertaken and the drawings were back with the homeowners within a week, for them to look over and make any changes before we submitted the plans to the local authority.
Most lofts and house extensions are within the permitted development, some would be subject to planning permission. To obtain the go ahead from the council for permitted development takes a short while, the actual application is little bit simpler but it is always good to have a lawful certificate or granted permission from local council. After planning matters are resolved structural drawings and party wall agreements were put in place.

Rear open plan house extension and associated property refurbishment. There is a kitchen with the island in a contemporary grey color, including built in wine storage and a hob and extractor. The downstairs is finished with a dark wooden floor. This house has had a total refurbishment completed by LCCL Construction including the loft conversion. This involved full plumbing and electrical work, structure including opening up the rear and box beams. Finishing is in white color with dark floors.
The Loft Conversion has 3 Velux Windows to front and double window to the rear with lovely views overlooking the garden, grey carpet finished the floor and spotlights to make it nice and bright. All the doors are fire rated FD30 and the smoke alarms have been installed on all the floors.
